The History
This homestead has a very colorful history. The original home goes back nearly 200 years, and of course, has been kept up-to-date to provide a modern country living experience. The farm is situated within walking distance of the town centre, public services (fire, police, public works) all within a quarter mile. Reclaiming The Land
When we moved to this farm in 2016, we found a lot with a lot of potential. However, much of the land was in disrepair. The once grassy meadow had been overgrown with brambles and thicket, building material had been discarded and left to rot out in the open, and there were only remnants of a working farm.
We changed all of that. Over the course of 2 years, we tamed the meadow; removing invasive and harmful thorny plants. We created boundaries that would allow for the safe raising of livestock that would not conflict with wildlife. And we brought beauty and the promise of prosperity back to the land. All here for you!
